Why Does Grammar Matter
Paraphrasing
Good grammar in the workplace is very important. According to iFixit CEO, Kyle Weins, when you use good grammar, your word is more likely to be trusted because it becomes credible. This is very important to him; he feels as if even when a person is not present their words reflect who they are. People are going to judge them due to their writing, Weins is one of those people. Weins is a stickler when it comes to grammar and has a zero tolerance approach. He also believes that when you speak or write with good grammar it shows that you have been paying attention.(Weins) According to Forbes writer Susan Adams, she feels that good grammar shows how intelligent a person is. She says when a person already knows what they are going to say before speaking, the grammar flows better. When their grammar is good and sentences are clear, Adams believes it suggests respect. Adams also believes it shows how to organize a person's thoughts are. Which shows an employer how well they will be able to succeed in the workplace. (Adams)
